Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, address or payment details. Everything you type into a calculator on this site stays in your browser. It is never sent to us. What we do collect is anonymous usage analytics, and our advertising partners set cookies.

What we collect

Information you give us

Only what you choose to send us, by email or through the contact form. We use it to reply and we do not add you to any mailing list.

The contact form is handled by Formspree, which receives what you type and forwards it to us by email. Your email address is optional on that form. If you leave it blank we have no way to reply, which is the trade you are making, and nothing identifying you beyond what you write in the message reaches us. Formspree processes the submission under its own privacy policy and also records technical details such as your IP address for spam filtering.

Calculator inputs

Weights, purities and making charges you enter are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to our servers and we never see them.

Usage data

Pages visited, approximate location at country or city level, device type, browser, and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregate and not used to identify you.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses cookies for analytics and advertising.

Third parties

We rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics and advertising. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

You may ask what data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Email contact@goldrateindia.info. Since we do not operate accounts, in most cases we hold nothing that identifies you beyond any email correspondence.

We will update this page if our practices change, and update the last-reviewed date above.
